Course Description:

Medicine and dentistry come together in this annual event featuring an outstanding faculty of medical specialists and dental sleep medicine experts. This year, we have a very unique faculty line-up representing 12 different specialties including the man considered the Grandfather of Sleep, Dr. William Dement.

Our goal is to bridge the gap between medicine and dentistry educationally, philosophically, and clinically to improve pre-diagnostic screening, referral and therapeutic outcomes for our mutual patients. Not only is the MD-DDS Collaborative Sleep Symposium faculty quite diverse, more importantly, our intent is to host an equally diverse audience. This year, we invite all physicians, surgeons, dentists, nurses, physician’s assistants, technologists and TEAM interested sleep disorders, diagnoses and management. By promoting collaborative study and multidisciplinary presentation, we can synergistically advance evidence-based strategies to better manage sleep breathing disorders.

Integrating the diagnostic expertise and collaborative guidance from medical sleep physicians, nurses and technicians with dental sleep medicine experts, will allow us to better screen and manage our patients in all healthcare settings.

This symposium offers both a multidisciplinary faculty and audience. Do not miss this opportunity to learn from the experts and rub shoulders with your medical, dental, nursing and technologist colleagues.
